Walnut Husk Active Carbon is a strong, natural, active carbon that comes from the tough outer skin of walnuts – a rich farm by-product that comes from the processing of nuts in the food-and-oil-extracting sector. The production process starts with a controlled carbonation of the purified walnut husk at elevated temperatures and then the formation of a highly porous interior structure that is optimized for absorption.

Walnut shell is one of the toughest and most structurally flexible nut shell raw materials used in active carbon production. Due to its unique physical composition, it has a balanced meso- and micro-pore distribution, providing versatile adsorption capacity across both liquid and gas phase applications.
